Unforgettable Helicopter Excursion from Monaco to Barolo

Some dreams are so lavish that they feel almost unattainable. Yet, for the lovers of wine and gastronomy, we have one such dream that can indeed be realized – a day trip via helicopter from the picturesque Monaco to the wine heartland of Italy, Barolo.

This isn’t just a simple return flight but an exclusive adventure into the realm of haute cuisine and world-renowned wines. Imagine the beautiful Monaco, the glimmering French Riviera, and then flying to the ethereal landscapes of Piedmont in Italy.

This region, home to the legendary Barolo wine and the famous white truffles, offers a gastronomic experience like no other. Nestled amidst the lush Langhe hills, it is steeped in rich culinary tradition, offering some of the most refined cuisine Italy has to offer.

Our partner, Meet Piemonte, presents an opportunity for a one-day round trip from Monte Carlo to Piedmont, promising breathtaking views and gastronomical experiences that stimulate all senses.

Take-off from the heart of Monaco

We have collaborated with MonacAir, the official supplier of HSH The Sovereign Prince of Monaco since 1999, to ensure a private, safe, and comfortable helicopter flight for our guests.

Take-offs can be organized from the Monaco heliport, or directly from your superyacht, the Nice airport, or any other private helipads, as long as they have been approved by MonacAir’s expert team of certified pilots.

A Private Tour from Monaco to Barolo

Being a private tour, Meet Piemonte can tailor it to your preferences. The helicopter ride usually begins at around 10:00 AM from Monaco with a return flight scheduled between 17:30 to 18:00. However, during winters, for safety reasons, the landing in Monaco should take place before 16:30.

The flight duration is about 40 minutes, featuring extraordinary views of the Mediterranean, the Alps, and the rolling Langhe hills in Piedmont.

Your first stop is a prestigious Barolo winery where our helicopter is authorized to land. Here, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the winery owner and guided through the fascinating wine ageing rooms, followed by a vertical tasting of their distinguished vintages.

Exclusive Services from Monaco to Barolo

Our guests will be pampered from the moment they step onto our helicopter. Here are six exclusive services included in the excursion from Monaco to Barolo:

  1. Private Transfers in Monte Carlo: We offer a private chauffeur service to/from the Monaco heliport, arranged in luxury Mercedes vehicles, departing from your Monte-Carlo accommodation.
  2. MonacAir’s Modern and Elegant Helicopters: Enjoy a safe and stylish journey in a modern helicopter fleet, managed by MonacAir.
  3. Skip the Queue at Monaco Heliport: Experience privileged access for boarding.
  4. Landing at the Winery: Landing directly at the Barolo winery, reducing time spent in transit.
  5. Exclusive Winery Tastings: Enjoy exclusive Barolo tastings, with limited-production bottles.
  6. Lunch at a Michelin-star Restaurant: Savor a lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant in an elegant dining room overlooking the vineyards.

Afternoon Activities in Piedmont

The private tour can be adjusted according to our guest’s needs. After lunch, you may choose to return to Monaco for a work commitment or relax at your luxury hotel.

However, if time allows, we can introduce you to other aspects of Piedmont. A short car transfer can take you to the town of Alba for some shopping, or you can visit another winery for a Barolo or Barbaresco tasting.

For the outdoor enthusiasts and the curious, we recommend truffle hunting with dogs. The Alba white truffle season starts at the end of September and continues until January. This walk in the woods offers an understanding of the delicate environment where the truffles grow, and an opportunity to observe the unique bond between the truffle hunter and his dog.
